Funny you should post this, while I don't need pads for the CJ, we are due for pads and possibly discs for the CE lancer soon so would be interested in Green stuff pads at least for the CE :D.

Green stuff pads worked wonders in the heavy VW Bora that I had, guys at the brake shop couldn't believe they are near the bottom of the EBC tree when they installed them. They are noisy for the first 1500Km but after that, not a peep - even when cold and a lot less dust that the factory kit.

What prices are we looking at roughly?

Will update the prices when I get them. Was hoping you guys let me know what rotors you were looking at. I'll then add it to the list of things.

This group buy is just a mass purchase of stuff RDA sell, you'll have to tell me what parts you want, then based on the total transaction, they'll then mark it down by a percentage.

So the more we buy, the more we get off.

With EBC green stuff I had a quick look and found ( make sure before buying!! )- for 2008-2009 CJ

Front pads for everything from ES to Ralliart are:
Part Number DP21614

Rear pads for ES / Ralliart ( not sure about VR )
Part Number DP21563

Rear pads for VRX
Part Number DP21407

Slotted rotors from the above in slotted and dimpled are:
Fronts to suit ES ( again not sure if VR )
Part number GD7379

Front to suit VRX
Part number GD7380

Thats what I found quickly. Perhaps someone could triple check.

Thanks for the info Mr Charisma i am pretty sure the ES and VR share braking components, cause the VRX got slightly bigger rotors cause of the bigger engine capacity. Isnt there a listing for rear rotors yet? Anymore info anyone else can add would be much appreciated

The bigger front and rear brakes on the VRX were on the 2.0L aswell, it's simply just one of the upgrades the VRX got for the extra $$$....

I am interested in slotted rotors for the front two and the green stuff. Not sure if I need the pads for the rear though since ours is just FWD.

You will generally ( and I say generally ) find that you will have a 2:1 ratio front to rear replacement. So you will go through 2 sets of front pads before you will need to look at replacing pads on the rear and or replacing / machining rear rotors.

When I had a Magna, did the slotted rotors / decent pads up front and machine rotors / same pads rear and it worked a treat. Make sure you get the brake fuild seen to as well.

Are you able to get brake rotors and pads for other model cars under this group buy? The front brake rotors and pads on my K11 Micra are due to be replaced shortly, and if I can get them at a cheaper rate I'm all for that. :)
