*CLOSED* Exhaust Group Buy

Introduction
It is well known that one of the biggest impediments to the CJ Lancer is our stock muffler.

Background
So a group buy for a new muffler/exhaust system may well be sensible. This Group Buy has been developed from discussions we've been having across the forum:

1. Magnaflow Axle Back
2. New Exhaust?
3. Aero Exhaust
4. X-Force Varex
and this one off the EvoM forum

There are a host of Axle and CAT back systems which different people have proposed for our car. The list will be too far and too wide so I'll add on to the list when necessary. No point telling me something that won't fit on our car. So please check before shouting.

Candidates
I've narrowed down our exhaust mod search topurpose made models
for our car:
a) GReddy Spectrum Elite - proposed by ofey
b) Magnaflow - proposed by Ozie and daveee
c) Injen SES - proposed by Josh_Emerton
d) HKS USA Legamax Premium (dual tip solution) - proposed by ofey

I will slowly update this post with details of the three and then start a poll regarding a group buy. Remember we will need at least 5 paxs to qualify anywhere for a group buy.

Just updating those interested in the GReddy one above.

I've been in contact with a dealer in the US (it's a US-only part. Made in Japan but only sold in the US).

He's offering US$350 + shipping. 5 pieces minimum order.

Shipping will be by BAX to Tullamarine Airport, VIC. Quote is now underway for this.

As I said, I'm trying to sort out the delivery now.

I can't speak for others but will speak for myself. I'm using the entire Rudd Bonus on my car. I'm hoping to get my front lip done for about A$300 which will leave me about A$650+ for my muffler.

Afterwhich I reckon I'll take a break for awhile before doing the springs.

Remember all of these group buys will require o/seas shipping and with the high price there, we will end up pulling the plug on a couple of them.

Most of them are an expression of interest first. Until the point that you pay, then you'll know how much more you have left to spend.
