I guess I should call NRMA tomorrow and check how it affects my premium. I will report back my findings. I am hoping that they don't complain :)

From what I understand, sport line just has the added drop of a further 0.5" on the front.

Stiffness should be more on the Pro-kit though, slightly... .

Anyways, just to add to this, our sponsors PMR are offering:

Pedders Extreme XA Coilovers at
A$1600 (Parts only)
A$1800 (Installed)

RRP I checked for installed at a Pedders Facility is A$2050.

Just so everyone knows, I have just got off the phone with NRMA.

What I have been told is that you can do any modifications to your car as long as the RTA would consider them legal and roadworthy.

These modifications do not need to be specifically listed on the policy as long as they are legal and you just stipulate what agreed value you would like to insure your car for.

As always, you should contact your insurance company and confirm for yourself :)

Definitely.

I just bumped mine up from $22400 (NRMA's agreed value) to $25000 and it cost me $2 more a month... When I get some more stuff I will bump it up some more!!

Is there a group install aswell ?

I have had 3 cars done at http://www.centrelinesuspension.com.au/ and they do great work, they now also supply and fit Eibach gear.

I asked about install only for my car and he quoted $250. I asked if a group deal was possible and he was not against the idea, he said give me numbers and I can work out a deal for you.

The guy I spoke to was Chris.

Somebody with the right tools and knowledge should knock it over in 2 hours max. Maybe even an hour with assistance. Then you would have a wheel alignment on top.

Are they both the same price ?

actually thats a good point.

can the prokit be lowered a little less or are they stuck at that?

1.7" on the front is too much, 1.2" seems about right
but 0.8" doesnt seem enough on the back?

im a realtive noob when it comes to this sort of stuff, but could you go 1.4 (35mm) front & 1.2 (30mm) rear with the prokit?

or are they stuck on those sizes?

You are pretty much stuck, you could have the springs reset. But that would affect ride quality. To adjust you would need to go coilovers. I find my car sits lower at the back than the front, so I guess that is why the lowering heights are different front to back.

hmm, will stick to the prokit.

whilst 0.8" doesnt seem enough at the back, 1.7" seems alot at the front.

prefer to be slightly higher than too low :)
