Ok got a reply from EBC USA, it seems one of the shops I emailed must have forwarded it onto EBC USA, or they are selling there stuff online under the website PerfectBrakes.

Hi There,

Those pads are new on our system and they have not been made yet.
We are expecting them sometime in late August, please check back with us at that time.

According to my UK guy, all EBC pads are made in the UK.

I love how everyone is getting a different story depending on who they talk to lol

No different story on my end.
All EBC pads are made in the UK.

When I said the pads are US DM only, I meant that they can only be sold in the US.

Our RDA guy said that they're made in UK on a US only order. The US were the only people who contributed to the R&D of the set, and have demanded that they'd be the only ones who are entitled to sell emmm.... .

These looks good, I might be interested in the

Front Grooved & Dimpled Rotors (Gold Anodised) (Pairs Priced)
RDA7896G (ES & VR)
Quoted @ A$228

redstuff
DP31614
Front Pads (ES, VR, VRX & RA)
Quoted @ A$120

But my car only has 4,000 k's on the clock so they will probably sit in the garage for a few months before I put them on

Here's why there's been a delay:

Mitsubishi will help us out in terms of dimensions/sizing- most work off
part numbers- not dimensions. Since you members are keen- they may be
able to help us. We need you to get someone who has an ES or VR CJ
lancer to check to make sure the pads are the same as DP1614 for the
front, and DP1563 for the rear.(pictures attached- might be a little
small but should do the job)

We also need someone with a VRX or Ralliart/aspire to check the DP1407
are the same as the fronts, and DP1538 are the same for the rears.

They should be able to take off a wheel front and rear to quickly check
the pad in the caliper. Preferably someone more mechanically minded that
can check for this.

If they could also measure the diameter of the rotors to confirm sizing
for the models that would be greatly appreciated. I have 276mm listed
for ES/VR front discs and 294 mm listed for VRX/RALLIART/ASPIRE fronts.
No measurements for rear which would be handy to check.

The quicker you get back to me the quicker i can get the ball rolling on
organising the next phase.

Kind Regards

RDA

I don't know any specs or anything like that I'm afraid, I can try to take a wheel off and measure the rotor if you want though (09 VR). I wouldn't want to go taking brake pads off as I haven't done that before and wouldn't want to stuff it up as I'm not too mechanically minded :(

How are we meant to check if they are the same as the pads they have listed?

Something to compare them to?

Packed up my tape measure last night so can't measure the disc (moving house). Ryan and myself can probably have a crack at this on saturday when we're at the MCA dyno day.

I have a set of VRX front pads sitting at home in a box of which I also have photos (including against a ruler for dimensions) in my gmail account. PM me your email address ofey and I'll forward the photos onto you.

Says he wants the VRX fronts aswell, but I probably wont get around to checking the rears until next weekend.... Plus I wont a new socket set before I try to take them off
