Ofey, I'm keen for a RA Intake and battery cover, just waiting to hit 20 posts so I can PM. Also the RA seems to have a different plastic cover over the radiator (the part that everyone has cut to allow extra airflow), which already has the larger hole. If this will fit a VRX can you chase up a price for me. Thanks in advance.

Hi ofey & hello to all,

I am a newbie to cars and this forum. I just bought a lancer ActiV.
What is the price for Item 1 (alloy-like trimmer around the grille) and Item 2 (front bumper sports accent trim) in the image below? Thanks :).

Kean,

the RA bumper bar is a completely different product to the one on you r current Activ. There is no way you can just strap that on. It's an entirely different bumper bar you need to change to.

The way some people have attempted to adapt your bumper bar for this effect is to put black vinyl over that center portion and use Chrome trim tape around the nose.

For more info, see here.

Hi again ofey

Any idea what is the price for the black vinyl?

I think I will just forget about the bumper bar and just install the black vinyl (too complicated and pricey for me ---> http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=5254)

No more than A$15. You could just ask Sign Creations. Here is a link. I think he charges A$10 and posts it to you.

an the chrome moulding we have been using is D10 or D15, it comes in a 5 meter roll from larger supercheap auto stores and ranges from $20 - $40 for a roll (a roll is enough to just do the job twice).

Those members in SA are also able to approach aspir3 to obtain the same pricing but save on postage.

Or those in the rest of Australia who don't like dealing with me, feel free to get in touch with Troy!
