not to hi-jack.

but out of interest, how do you go about putting these on your car?

do you buy it, go to your mechanic tell them to put it on, or do you gys know enough about this stuff to do it yourself?

i will freely admit, i know next to nothing about putting stuff like this on a car and would be very reluctant to do so.

something like this is an upgrade i want to do soon, but would never consider doing it myself.

^^ scott, it aint the easiest thing to do i hear, not that its complecated but its more that you have to muscle it in to the rubber hangers and getting it mounted so it doesnt touch the bumper ect.

its still is a direct bolt on, just time consuming to get it to fit correctly

What makes you think that they calculate by size? Everything i have ever posted internationally has been calculated by weight not by size! U can wrap it in plastic for all they care!

Guys take it easy on ofey, hes doing the best he can. If you aint happy with the price thats your prerogative. The small box that came with my SRI cost me $80 to ship here. Shipping to australia is a bitch.

interesting email I got from vivid racing:

(i asked about shipping pricing to australia, just to confirm what we know)

It is going to be released for the non turbo lancer the end of this month,
for the evo x it is backordered and very popular, shipping would be $300 for
either.

I thought this was already released, is he thinking of something else?
from what i understand, the evo one is dual no? why would the shipping be the same for each..

Gotta love m brother living in the US. He will be bringing back lancer parts :D

Wish our dollar would go back up.

Had a look at the Greedy Oceana site and it has the same part # and description on it with price TBA.... makes you wonder.
Love that car!

Right so b3n87 and myself are still going to get the GReddy. Before I put in a firm order, I just want to ask if there's going to be anyone else?

any chance of getting shipping down, even if it takes a bit longer to ship?

4 months and it comes by ship halves the price of shipping.
