I'm going to have to make it 5 sets min from now on I think and I'll possibly have to increase the price a little... ran at a loss this time round... I'll have to base prices again on what people want but review my price structuring cos things like painting and polishing ended up taking a lot more time to get right than i thought...
but yeah, 1 set is just not economical enough for me to offer a decent price sorry!

yeah, everyone's happy if we get a group buy going... dunno how I fair but I would think this is a good price for such a small batch of items... mitsubishi probably just 'stamp' theirs out on a machine, 5 seconds per plate or something and these are around the same price (dealers price, not out heavily discounted price)
but yeah, from concept to reality each plate takes a lot longer than i anticipated - seemed like a 30 minute job at first glance - lol...

haven't decided on a pricing scheme just yet as I've just sent out the first order, I'm having a day or two of without scuff plates on the brain - but I will work something out shortly, expect somes plates to remain around the same and the highest going up by $30 max I'd say... smaller text is definately a killer, as is full custom work...

what tadz said heat the whole plate quite warm I'd say, don't be too afraid of the paint, remember, a black painted lancer would last a day in the sun and would reach temperatures hotter than you could stand to leave your hand on - so don't be afraid!
careful with fishing line, you can easily cut into your hands if you're not holding it right!
