Aaaarrrgg!! If only I saw this on Saturday!! I had my wheels off doing a rotation, and it would've taken me 5 extra minutes to remove the pads!!!

Tell you what ofey, tomorrow I will pull of the wheels again and get the pad and rotor dimensions and photos. No big issue for me. Nothing better to do with my day lol.

Will get back to you on this.

I'm interested in EBC Red stuff pads for the VRX Fronts. Cheers.

Pics of front VRX front pads sent to you now ofey....

Also have been talking to Henry from Hen's Performance and he was saying red stuff for the rears will be ineffective as we aren;t going to generate much heat in the rears. In his mirage he uses blacks even for the track. He recommends we go for Greenstuff rear pads, so I'm going to take his advice! Also means that we won't have to mcuk around getting them from the states anymore!

I was also already planning on draining the fluid and replacing it with Nulon Super DOT4 and he reckons that this stuff is very reliable!

Does he think the Reds are ok in the fronts? I'm not sure myself if they will be effective enough (hard street use, no tracks for me) but the price difference between Green and Red is so little hence why I leaned towards the Reds.

You probably wont see any benefit unless you plan on hitting the track.

And if you're braking that hard on the street you're probably doing something you shouldn't be!

Yeah he said Reds would be what I'd need in the front to handle hard braking.

If you dont plan on tracking it or going on long roads where you're going quick and there's lots of braking you may need it, but otherwise you'll probably only need greenstuff fronts.

I plan on going back to Wakefield Park so I'll be needing the reds

You guys haven't driven on the road I drive on. I give the brakes a good run down this mountain range, and I do get some fade when braking for the really hard corners. I'm talking about coming down form 100-120 to 40 in a short distance. Then the same for the next corner. And the next haha so fun but all legal. no need to worry about the cops on that road :D

So by the sounds of that, Redstuffs might be for me. I may take it on the track one day, dunno yet. Depends if my mate wants to go in his T5 Volvo. He is quicker in a straight line, but I brake harder and handle better. He has EPIC understeer when going into a corner hot. I though the Lancer was bad haha

Right all the prices should be there now except for Red Stuff rears which I've already explained.

If you're going to order, please post a reply like mine (don't bother with description. Part numbers cannot be wrong):
ofey (O.Ed.): RDA7896G + DP21614 + DP61407 = A$430.00

Your car model in brackets will act as a double check for RDA.
All VIC pay the price seen.
I will group ship to any other state at cost.

If you think you're going broke, don't buy.
Buy it yourself from the shops outside of our group buy.
See if you go MORE broke!

If you're inevitably going to do these mods, do them with the group buys.
The Mitsubishi Parts from Preston can be done at any time. Put those off to the end.

That's exactly right ofey!! I've been quoted $175 for redstuff pads and $550 for gold annodized grooved and dimpled rotors via the local RDA stockist. THe prices you have come back with are simply amazing and definitely a job well done! :D

Thanks for the support.

We now have 4 orders. I guess they'll sell emm but the impression won't be good. We said group buy but it's more like an individual buy... .

I'm setting a deadline of Friday 25 July 2009.
