I've read through most of this thread and note the issue with Canbus and no sound in accessory key position. Apologies if I missed the answer. There is a fix as outlined below. I cannot work out how to place an image but its pretty straight forward.

Cut off the purple cable which connects to canbus, then join it to the GND(the negative pole of power)

Now they didn't say which end to connect to GND/ earth (cabnus or plug/radio). I basically just spliced earth into to purple wire so it is an earth and it works just fine.

Got may head unit and fited it today. Very happy with it and is a perfect fit, No gaps at all. But have one little problem.

When im using the Ipod on the Ipod cable The screen on the ipod comes up with accesarory mode and the song do show on the screen. But the sound wont play throught the headunit it plays through the ipod speakers.

Why is this?

try reconnecting it. I had issues with an older ipod and an iphone 3S, but today I used an iphone 4 and it worked fine. It seems a bit hit and miss with the connection

Might need help on fitting the headunit,
No matter how hard I try I seems to be getting a gap in the middle on top

Checked all clips are in their holes, any help or suggestions?

Anyone around Blacktown area which can help me out?

Mine was the iPod 3. Hold on just try the 4 gen

4 gen iPod touch same result. Plays audio thought the iPod not the head unit

With my head unit I put the top in first make sure all clips are in if the middle two not in propebly that will cause caps about 1mm-2mm big then once the top is lined up then clip the two clips in down the bottom near haz switchs

weird.. mines got a 1-2mm gap only on the left side. everywhere else sits perfect

the gps is good! pretty spot on. havent tried the TV yet. and when listening to radio or music and your in gps mode, does it cut out your front speakers when the lady talks ?

other then that its all good good buy people!

Well I looked into the tv thing, and I don't think it is possible now. THere is no connection or internal hardware for the DTV because we didn't order it. It's just a hole in the back of the unit.

There is an analog tv antenna port, but I don't know if we can use that at all.
Unless that works and you use a digital to analog converter.

Perhaps it could work through the RCA cables.

Tryed my old iPod (not a touch) and works all good then after that plug In the 4 gen in and still didn't work. Tryed my friends 4s today too and still same result comes out the speaker of the iPhone instead of the headunit

In regards to the tv:
On eBay there is digital tv receivers but they have RCA cables
But I would like to know is there any spare RCA cables from the head unit
