I pick up my front mud flaps tomorrow from my dealer.

Some one ordered a set but did not pick them up so I only have to pay $30.40 inc. GST

I will do but my dealer told me the sports back were different.

I cant see why they are different.

I suppose they would fit the same.

I don't think there is a difference. A dealer sent me this screen dump from their parts system. This specifies they are for the sportback also.



Is the difference you have been told about in the installation?

I am picking mine up on Saturday. Rang 4 dealers & the price varied from $34.20 to $40.

The front flaps will be 100% identical, the rears will of course be different.

Ralliart rears are also different, but the fronts the same.

These mudflaps are great.

I was surprised how wide they were. They are as wide as the tyres.

They fit nicely to the shape of the side skirts and guards.

Fit; 2minutes. 1 screws, 2 clips and double sided tape provided.
The screw and 2 clips need to be removed. Area cleaned for double sided tape. Pressed into place. Then screw and pin clips refitted.

A 2 minute job has turned into a nightmare for me. I cannot get the silver screw from underneath the car that holds the side skirt to go back in. It doesn't seem long enough once the mud guard is no. Help please!!!!

Marty I dont know how I can help.

I did not look where the screw goes in to.

I just took mine out and it fit back in without any trouble.

If you look where the screw goes there may be one of those steel clips which go over a hole that may have moved out of position. I am only guessing as I did not take any notice.

Tomorrow I need to fit the Passenger side. I can look then and maybe able to help a bit more.

Any chance if we could get a picture from further away from the car? see how they look on the car as a whole?

Yes I can take a picture for you tomorrow.

Yesterday I quickly fit the right side and took a few close pictures. It is parked in the garage and against the wall, so it was hard to get a picture of the whole car and to fit the passengers side..

I will take the car out of the garage tomorrow and fit the passenger side. I will look what the screw goes in to as well and take a picture of the car side on. I will take it low to the ground so you can see them.

There seems to be a white plastic clip of some sort that holds the side skirt in place. This is what the screw fits into. However mine engages with the clip only in the last mm or 2 so when I have the mud flap in place I cannot get it to engage with the clip to lock in place it just keeps threading.

Get a longer screw. Once it starts you should be alright.
