**********VIDEO COMING SOON**********

Hey guys!

I recent got myself this intake because I was intrigued by the design of it. I ordered it and only just received it 4 days ago. It took about 10 mins to construct and 20 to install.

The Secret Weapon Intake was designed, to increase air intake volume to the engine. The concept is to create two different air velocity profiles, one traveling at higher speeds than the other. This technology increases air volume and speed to the engine, which naturally feeds the engine 3x more air than the conventional air intake system. The intake pipe is bent out of high quality 6061 Aluminum on our Automated CNC mandrel bender. Polished to a high show quality finish. The SW1 Air filter features a tuned velocity stack to increase velocity and decrease turbulence.

Ill split this into 3 sectors...

DRIVING LIKE AN OLD FART:

Ok... Accelerating at a "normal" rate and keeping to the speed limit without any quick movements the fuel consumption hung around the 10.5km/L mark. the intake produced a nice purr from the engine bay. Nothing too dramatic.

DRIVING LIKE A 18Y/O:

Heavy acceleration up to the speed limit and taking corners at more or less the speed limit dropped the fuel consumption to 7.3km/L. chewed threw the Premium rather quickly but the power gain could DEFIANTLY be felt by my ASS-Dyno!!! Nice LOUD growl in all rev ranges but the growl is at its loudest at about 4000RPM.

HIGHWAY USE:

I opened up approaching and entering the highway on-ramp so the consumption Pre-Highway was about 8.7km/L. Once on the highway traveling at 110km/H on cruise control the consumption settled at 11.7km/L. Due to road noise the intake kinda gets drowned out.

When you use the extra power it gives you... you pay for it in fuel consumption. But drive "normally" and it will give you a decent fuel consumption.

From what ive heard, the original design was throwing CEL's. But that was pretty much straight after they installed it. Maybe they've changed the design since to combat the errors that it was throwing. But, i saw the stuff about it a while ago. This intake isnt really new on the market

Yeah. Not saying anything bad will happen or anything, Just going by what ive heard in the past

Hope all goes well with it man, would be interesting to see the difference in power it makes compared to a normal SRI like the fujita or RRM one...

Yes. They can't tell it's tuned. And they don't even plug in the computer at services hehe

And if they did wipe it off the ECU (they won't) it goes back on easy still.

Tune is $50 to premium members I think.

Yes I can load it on. Need to read your stock ROM first though.

If you're coming to the meet on Friday I can do that for you.
