USA "Black Friday" sales

Postby The X » Thu Nov 24, 2011 3:13 pm

OK guys, for those unaware, it's Thanksgiving in the US and every year after Thanksgiving (on a Thursday) all the stores and malls open up and have mega sales called "Black Friday Sales" and the tech places have "Cyber Monday Sales" after the weekend - similar to our Boxing Day sales here...

So here's a thread to list any good car related stuff or tech stuff/toys you might be interested in.... remember, to factor in postage from the US (so it may not be cheaper than getting it locally).... and yes the Aussie dollar is below parity, but remember it's way better than it was when it was hanging around in the mid-seventy cents range.... so it's still good a good time to buy internationally as long as the savings is there..

Do your research before buying and dont be impulsive!

Please remember everything is in US dollars and also bear in mind the timezone difference, so thier Friday is partially into our Saturday. :) Same as Monday, it will be Tuesday here.

Also for those buying tech toys, you will have a US style power plug! That can be solved by buying a travel adaptor or getting a sparky to shop off the plug and replace it with an AU style one.
Check voltages!!!! If the device uses an external "brick" style transformer - usually they can take international range of voltages from the USA 110v to the AU 240v. If the device cannot take international range of voltages, don't bother, it will be useless to you in AU.

First off

Lamin-x - for those wanting to tint their headlights or tail lamps or foggies with a protective pre-cut film.

http://lamin-x.com

Cyber Monday Sale! 20% off and free shipping! Also, free shipping until the end of the year! (excludes bulk rolls, free shipping for USA and Canada only)

Use coupon code CYBER20 when checking out

I have these myself and love the 6% tint, another member "eshanes" got the 12% tint recently http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?p=223929#223929

Just remember issues about ADR and legalities, you do so at your own risk.

Mitsubishi-parts.net are having a sale - tho no use if you do not have a US address to ship to as they don't ship internationally.

http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/catalog/?section=457

Do not bother with the all weather rubber floor matts, they're designed for left hand drive foot weels.
