I hope it was water based - for the drivers sake. Had my car repainted (no intentionally) last week and yea, luckily it was waterbased and it came off without too much of hassell.

I remember when I was younger mum drove over a spray can on the road without seeing it. Went all over the side of a 1 month old car :| Came off easy enough with a bit of elbow grease.
