YBYPSI number plates

So I was at work when a customer rolled up in a brand new VE Maloo (I think it had about 3000k's on the clock). Most of the blokes were standing around looking at it (myself included), and then some one pointed out the plates - YBYPSI. Instantly, myself and some of the other guys became pissed off and started abusing the car.
I now have even more reasons to mod my ride. My Ralliart plus turbo back exhaust, intercooler, piping, intake and a few other components (plus tune of course) for roughly $5000 (give or take) will blow him away and if is raining it will be embarrassing.
He's a regular customer so one day I will show him "YBYPSI"

Why buy a turbo (PSI meaning boost). I took great offense to it.

My dad owned two commodores and my missus owns a commodore (I sold my CE lancer to buy that - she hated the manual), so I certainly don't hate them but I think plates like that are just unnecessary. I don't like the owner not the car.

Umm, he still owns a Commodore. He's the one missing out.
Once we were behind a WRX with the plate BLUSTI - we were talking about it for hours wondering what 'Blusty' meant (and we were thinking it was windy or something) until I had that lightning bolt and worked out - duh, blu sti (it was blue). pmsl

i dont discriminate, i went with my heart on my current ride, my last car was a ve ss cammed and supercharged 440rwkw

I wouldn't let that bother you what the plates are what they mean etc.. does it really matter who's got the faster car. It's just a ego thing. Just remember that you can blow him away with engine mods, but there will be always someone out there that's even faster again

ive seen some like that,
YTRY, FAST4, COPB8, IMF4ST, WOG80Y, etc etc and all i think is tosser.

I probably over reacted but he was a tosser. my missus drives the commodore. She was nearly 8 months pregnant when she told me that a big family car would be safer - I didn't want to argue her (but she had be nagging about it for a while)
