been waiting 6 months for the arrival of my 2011 evo x sst bathurst edition, it left tmr on its way here last week, went over all the finance this morning getting really excited, then shortly after that got told the truck delivering it was in an accident and its a complete write off. bloody devastated.

seems to be the norm for evo delivery times. now there is only one WW gsr with tc-sst left in the country and i believe its being used as a demo, then id have to wait for it to go to tmr for bathurst edition. so annoyed hope im not being told porky pies. then i wonder if tmr write that built number off and start at the next number or if ill get the same build number xx/100. bah few drinks on the cards for tonight i think.

Do you know where the crash was? Do some investigating. Either way that blows - hope mitsi sought something out for you - Grab a bottle of Jimmys, always numbs the pain.

Not sure what TMR would do about the numbering, you could ring Alan or Steve (? Dans replacement) and find out.

Its only a 3 day turn around to make a BE...

But yeah... It would be a massive kick in the guys especially with all the excitement of about to recieve it. Feel for ya mate!

thanks guys

no idea about the details of the crash just a truck fire is what everyone keeps sayin. at least tmr confirmed they heard the same thing so it must be legit.

also just spoke to TMR (nice bunch of guys) and they will hold the same build no. for me until i find a replacement evo to send to them.

although i wish i hadnt gone to their site and seen the 2.5lt evo engine upgrade !!! beast !

I would hit them up for a courtesy car... given they failed to deliver in time... Yes out of there control, but cant see why they couldnt give you an ES or something to run around in till the Evo can be replaced.
