I had copper issues with my cj, 8 RBT's in two weeks! In the end I stopped running around with P plates on... all the D!cks in commonwhores stopped racing me and the RBT's became alittle bit more random. I once even had a guy abuse me at the petrol station telling me the VR-X was an evo. Upon telling him he was wrong I was called a C0cky smartarse who was going to get into alot of trouble with the police for driving a restricted vehicle... needless to say he was a commodore driver.
Thats possibly the best thing about the Reno Im in now, its all cute and cuddly on the outside until you make it angry

Out of the 4 years I've been driving, I haven't been stopped for an RBT. That's probably because most of the time I was driving on my Ps, it was in a Camry and with my parents.
With the Lancer, there hasn't really been any negative reactions on the roads, but I think people do get a bit intimidated when you're behind them, even if I have no intention to do so.
I must say, whenever I see a young kid on the road with a Merc or Beemer, I think it's either "spoilt" or "doing something illegal".

As per the comments on that article how Toyota Camry drivers are the new "Volvo drivers" of the road these days, yes, I have to sadly agree with that even though I know a couple of good drivers in Camry's.

Except that 95% of people who have them don't need them.
They are heavy, and yeah, big.
Bad for the environment, bad for traffic.
The only people that should have them are people that go off-road. And they should only use them when going off-road unless of course they don't have the money for 'cars for every occasion'. Off-road enthusiasts or builders are all that come to mind (the builder equivalent usually being high utes like hiluxs etc).
You had three children and need lots of room? Get a wagon.
You want to drive something that makes you feel important? Get something fancy, not huge.
Humanity's fascination with size I guess.
And no thats not a guy thing, much of them are woman.
