I found a road test on a SX CVT that might be of some interest

Nice find review was only done yesterday too, not sure if I entirely agree with it, I sealed the deal on mine last Sunday, got it brand new and white for around 21K, pick it up on thursday.

for the price I got mine for I'm happy and it'll go towards some extra things for it

reviewer doesnt seem to fancy the interior design, even noted in the final comment, I guess thats personal preference tho

Probably sounds about right with the Mazda3 being the nearest "better" alternative. You do pay a premium for that though, and that's a lot to do with demand as opposed to value.

I can't say the Lancer interior is the most inviting. I've been a fan of black plastics, such as say in the Hondas, but the Lancer interior overdoes it a bit. It wasn't the interior that made me buy the car, but the package as a whole.

I cant see a problem with the lancer interior, other than the occasional rattle,Motoring critics will always find a fault with a car, they seem to think the cabin and road noise is acceptable,i tend to agree, maybe i just got a quiet lancer compared to other members saying theres are noisy to the point they have to dynamat there cars. Maybe a modded exhaust wouldnt help the cause??

interior wise its not the flashiest, but some people preref it to be just simple and to the point. i love the interior becuase it's not too fancy.
i got my SX for 19,990, so im pretty darn happy with the whole package!!

the only other decent vehicle for that money was the Fiesta CL - with much less features and an overdone interior! IMO
