So I was wondering why the drivers side seat belt had some slack. it turns out the seat belt was caught between the seat recline adjuster and the seat height adjuster.

I untangled the seat belt and looked at it. It has some evidence of wear (due to rubbing between the two adjusters).

I'm now considering replacing the seat belt - can this be done DIY? Does any one here work for Mitsubishi here and know how much it costst to replace a seat belt?

I woudlnt do it DIY.

The front seatbelts have pre tensioners in the event of an acciedent. I'd take it to mitsubishi and get them to sort it out...
