Yea. I hate it when the car in front of you slams the brakes when you are watching for that idiot beside you.
If this makes you feel any better: My friend's 2 month old Fiesta got smashed at the side but he couldn't get the plates off the offending car as it did a run into the streets. BASTARDS.

I think thats a little more than a flesh wound. Stupid tow bars. Looks like some radiator damage too. Front lights always seem to hold up well in accidents.
You do have insurance dont you?

He sure does....!!! Hope they hold to that - nice
Nice of them... I would have thought they'd say no for sure - unless you're paying the difference...
Nasty little 'ding'.... I'd have liked the lights to go myself... (as I need a new set)

$1150 for a RA bumper and bonnet is alright.
But seriously, I've had one accident, glad you're alright

Thats a bit of a ding in the pocket :S
Have you got a hire car for the interim?

Oh yes, most insurance companies are terrible for us males under 25.
I'm with AAMI too and I have the basic $500 excess + another $500 because of my age. When my policy is up I'll be looking hard for one with a lower excess but similar annual fee.
Currently I pay $661 (or around there) with a 10% discount from the safe driving course and because I switched one of our cars to AAMI too
Though the stupid sportback is $50 more expensive a year compared to the sedan!
BTW, check the car properly when you get it back from the repairers. My gf's car still has the bumper sticking out a little from a dodgy AAMI repairer. When we first collected the car they didn't hook up the licence plate lights and something about the front grill wasn't on. Grrr....
