i hope you didn't buy one of the ones that are made for the EVO , alot of those kits are for the evo, not the normal lancer

Yeh I've also heard very negative things about them... but that might just be compared to genuine kits. If you buy from them knowing you are buying replicas and are willing to live with it, then so be it.

Some of the Evo X kits look epic and I've been craving for them e.g. http://www.carmate.com/product_details. ... LAN08GTRFK

That kit has no 'genuine' origin- it was always going to be a mock up. So therefore I don't think ti's too bad buying from carmate but noone knows how the fit and finish will turn out.

it has been said before, but i have heard many reports that that kits dont fit properly and need alot of work make fit.

My brother was a panel beater in Sydney and delt with them a few time and he said the same thing, very shocking quality.

hey ben, how did the carmate kit go, did you end up getting one..

I had a bucket load of trouble with carmate on my old CE lancer, eventually, they got it to fit, but it was alot of work..

I am wondering if the standard of kits have improved?

Quote" carmate.. worst customer service and fitment for kits lol.. not recommended

i had same experience. very poor customer service and they seem to be very inexperienced with fitment.. went into the showroom last year to check em kits out. they where taking measurements on my ride to see if they will fit.. very strange.
