Pre-delivery advice

hey,
Delivery date 5/3 on a 2010 "activ" lancer... any advice on pre-delivery inspection? Any particular issues i should look out for?

Make sure it's clean!
Have a look in the following spots for little green stickers. They always tend to miss them in the inspection (why they're there) Removal shows they checked over it.
- Map lights (if installed)
- Vanity mirrors
- Numberplate light
- seatbelt height adjustment
- maybe more?
The number of Lancers I've been in that still have those is not funny!

Check the outside for any marks and the interior for any stains or blemishes
Make sure they fully explain the setup of the Fosgate stereo system or Bluetooth if fitted,they should run you through all the various options the car has as part of the delivery process,not sure what the Activ has in it.

Thats why I edited my previous post
I didnt know what the Activ had in it
I was thinking of the new VRX with standard Fosgate I guess!

lol @ Mitza b..... thot it was just a kitted up vr like the platinum for 2010 as platinum was 2009.....

I had the full handover of my Astra when I bought it. Mainly because it was my first new car. The sales guy made mention of me going over the car to ensure I was happy.
With the Lancer, I even put my own personalised number plates on it as the sales guy was with another customer. So I spent a good 20 mins going over the outside to make sure everything was cool. He offered to go through everything, I just said give me the keys and went haha...
One thing, when the sales person is going through all the functions, if the car has no fuel in it, make mention of it and see if you can get a tank of fuel out of them.
Mine had enough to get home and that was it...

Cool thanks guys! Sounds like i should just take my time look at everything? Is there such a thing as a pre-delivery test drive?

Hehe - I still have a couple of green stickers in mine - at least I know what they're for now... One springs to mind is near the map light/bluetooth mike...
