Was interested in the A1 up until that link... Looks like a Colt got caught playing dress ups in the Lancer parts bin and made a run for it

love the lancer, but who is kidding whom?

Look at the previous A4, current A4/A3 and you can see the theme for the A1. Gotta love those daytime LEDs as "eye liner" ....sexy when compared with HSV's clumsy attempt.

Small to mid Audis and small Volvo fleet have similar bumper/grill, and they were out well before the CJ.

CJ looks like the previous A4 upside down (I park next to one often). Now the A4 is class, so I'm not complaining about the CJ look

Well, no one is saying that Germany/France etc took cues from Japan... Have a look at the rear of the Lancer, it looks so much like an Alfa 156's tail end, or a Lexus 250 etc...
