It's a bloody clone I tell you... .

Image

This my friends is the new Suzuki Kizashi

Points of similarity:
- The dash meters are a clone.
- Paddle shifters & CVT
- 8 airbags
- 425 watt Rockford Fosgate premium audio system with 10 speakers
- hands-free calling with voice command
- 235/45R18 tires
- leather wrapped parking brake handle and steering wheel with cruise control.
- automatic rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps

Improvements??:
- AWD (that's a big one)
- 3-position memory driver's seat
- Push button start comes default
- air conditioning piped to rear seats default
- telescopic steering

Their design process must have been: "Let's look at the Lancer. whatever great? We'll copy? What's missing we'll add it!"

I wouldn't be laughing at this Suzuki... . It's bloody amazing!! Think this is a real value for money buy. To date, I can't say that I would buy another car besides our beloved lancer. If I were buying now, I probably would go for one of these!

Yea, saw this quite a while ago and I was very impressed by it. Don't think it is coming to Australia though.

Not coming?? Seriously now, I think Suzuki would be stupid NOT to bring this in... . It'd compete against the CIVIC, LANCER, IMPREZZA sedans and win because of the price.

I'm not kidding when I say this. I'd actually sell my Lancer to buy this.

They even have Akebono brakes as standard!!

There is only a A$2500 difference between the 2WD and 4WD versions!

OK so it doesn't have MIVEC but but it has so much more otherwise!! I've never been so excited seeing a car!

I reckon this has raised the bar. I can't wait to see what the next Lancer is going to be like!

Yeah that really does look like a lancer clone especially in the interior and specs, but all done up.

I have to concede this is a very nice car.

But I still prefer the lancer's external styling. Plus I suspect the lancer wouldbe better in handling.

If i was after class, i would pick the suzuki, but, I was after looks and functionality. The lancer ticked all the boxes for me. I was in the air on what to get. It was either, a focus, fiesta XR4, or the lancer. I did think subaru, but i wasnt a fan of it back then as much as i am of it now.

By the time it comes to Australia, the price will be too much, and half the cool features will be missing... Typical, us Australian's get rorted with cool cars.

We were damned lucky to get the tech in our Lancers we did like smart key, auto wipers etc
