China made Lancers

Postby ofey » Fri Jul 24, 2009 4:17 pm

Southeast is producing Lancers for the Chinese Domestic Market (CDM).

Starting price is 150,000 CNY on the road = A$27,000 *SHIT!*

Anyone for CDM? Perhaps someone wants the CDM emblem... .
Just pray MMA doesn't import the ES from there... .

On another front the Chinese Police are also getting Lancer Squad Cars:

Don't know what all that rubbish badging is about...

But they get the Ralliart front on all models..... and they have higher equipped base models and stuff.... fair or not I wonder :)

Reckon it was a prototype? Otr maybe there's been a facelift already in China...

Official photos of the cars (in the catalogue and the website) show clearly that there is no trace of that sporty look... All have the Ralliart front for sure :)

Oh, and no stupid badgine either..... Just Lancer EX badging

Isnt it Taiwan that have the Lancers with two different front ends and different engines? One of them countries in that area have a 1.5 which has an ES front on it and then a GT spec which is the 2.0 but a Ralliart like front bar. Its fog light surrounds are turned around the other way (curve on top instead of bottom like our normal Lancer ones). GTS spec being Ralliart not sure but they have different fronts to our ones.

I not sure on Chinese made cars. Food yes, cars no. I have a carbon fiber spoiler and it came from China... I convinced Tina Turner made it too...
