Which car to buy to replace the CJ, not Mitsubishi

I have seen many people move on over the years, from Focus XR5, to Prado, from Mazda 3 MPS to Hilux to replace their CJ Lancer.
What car are you looking forward to in the near or distant future which might be on your list to replace your current ride, given mine is 7 years old this year.
I'll start..... Mazda 6 MPS, due ~2017. (Given Liberty 3.6, no GT, CVT only is not my cup of tea in the looks department either!)

Haven just joined the CJ club I'm not planning changing cars anytime soon but I'd love a RA one day.
Away from Lancers a Mazda RX8 would be nice or even a Mini Cooper S, maybe even a WRX.

Something electric possibly. A bottom of the range Tesla is on the extended wish list.
Or an A45 merc or Audi S3 for something with a bit of poke from the petrol world

I'd probably be inclined to go backwards to an evo 5 or 6 for the rawness.
All the euros tend to feel a bit disconnected, are overly expensive to modify and maintain and just don't have the same appeal as an older evo. Plus they handle like animals...

Evo 8,9 or 10
Otherwise maybe a BMW or 86...
Or you know... a GTR R35

A blacked out, slammed Audi S4, with adjustable air suspension and a Valvetronic Armytrix exhaust, so I can go from stealth to shouty whenever I want to. It's my dream car.
But to be honest Anything blacked out with adjustable air suspension and a valvetronic exhaust is my dream haha

Haha i think a lot of these are unrealistic - but fair dream cars
Having my RA right now is awesome - especially now that i'm modding it up
For a realistic next car i'd probably consider going a Golf R - AWD + turbo
RS3 would be nice - but who has that kinda cash?!

with the way the weather is going these days I would consider looking at either the Holden Colorado Range 4WD's or the ISUZU 4WD Range. also I have grown quite Fond of the ISUZU'S and Holden's

I like the older 90s and early 2000s cars, they had way better body lines imo - so I'd take an R32/R34 or Evo Zero (VR4)

The actual question we should be asking is, Whats your price budget?
I can tell you to get a BMW M4 cause theyre just nice and sound better then a CJ ? Can you afford it , i doubt it. Cause you wouldnt own a CJ hehe

been thinking about this for a while. I feel like as of now im not ready to go euro yet. so for the near future, probably a JZX100 MKII or a Chaser, R34 GTR.
Maybe the one after that will be a euro. a slammed RS5 with black wheels and dark tint sounds mighty tempting haha

Unrealistically:
Hakosuka Skyline or a Honda NSX.
In between:
FD RX7 (technically this is realistic but maintaining it will make the wallet cry).
R34 GT-R.
Realistically:
R32 GT-R, GTO Twin Turbo or Evo V/VI. Wouldn't mind a 2JZ Supra or a 1JZ Chaser though.
Actually they're all unrealistic right now because unemployed.

Going from evo10 there isn't really anything that gives dramatic improvements in terms of performance/handling yet with an affordable price tag.
The only one I could think of/want is an r35 gtr, although it would mean a few years of working hard to be able to get into one.

I'm with Seffy, Honda NSX... Just there are slim pickings and how to make it work with the kids, bikes, scooter etc But in my head one day I could make it work!
