K and N panel filter (or HKS, there's another aftermarket panel filter too) is a really good one to do. Just replaces the stock filter in your airbox/intake. Easy slip and lock.
You can consider getting a lip spoiler if you don't have one yet. Fairly sure they're just stuck on with a really strong adhesive but don't count me on that, haha. Check with that one first.

Look at getting a RA intake duct, easy to swap with your standard one and with a panel filter upgrade your car will breathe better

@ Blake - i've got a brand-new-still-in-the-bag-genuine RA snorkel and a brand-new-still-in-the-bag-genuine Cosworth panel filter as supplied and recommended by Megatron I'm going to put up on GumTree if you're interested....
And I'm on the GC, so can deliver!
Cheers!

Change the bulbs eg headlight bulbs ($60 approx) interior bulbs to LED ($25 approx for super bright white, pink, purple or blue).
Or change headlights and tail lights.
Changing the headlight, tail and interior lights on my car gave me head turning looks, more so then my personalised plates. I saw two teenagers seriously nearly face planted footpath as they couldn't take eyes of my RA the first night I drove her down to local shops. Totally changes look of car!
Custom decals. Pete / Evilralliart made some great custom decals for me (see my garage)
A lil more expensive but wheels. Go a lil wider and lower profile tyre and totally different handling.
Springs (cheaper than coilover) although good coilovers will give you camber adjustment also.
