hey guys just wondering i have $600 saved up,, what do you think would be the best mod to buy with that amount of money

Take that $600 to the casino and in one hit put it all on red or black. You either come up with nothing, or double. If double, then get some wheels or exhaust, lowering. If it comes up nothing - then try again when you save the next $600
.
In this world there isn't much you can get to drastically change your car for $600. Might have to keep saving - could be something good right around the corner.

What interests you?
Performance/Handling
Looks
Audio
What appeals to you the most, go down that route. If you can't afford to do what you want to do to the car, go to the next area that appeals to you the most and see what is attainable and do that.

Engine you've got pretty limited options. An exhaust would be your best bet for that kind of cash - I paid $460~ for my Magnaflow muffler to be installed. Full stainless steel with a tip. Probably the best money I've spent. Though if you go mild steel they can cost as little as $250-300. Just depends what you want to do. A friend paid $280 to get a new muffler on her VRX and it sounds like complete arse so you do get what you pay for in some instances.
If you want to dress the car up a bit road race are an okay option, though you'll have to pay shipping + in USD so you lose a bit of cash their. I'm waiting for them to get back to me on shipping costs at the moment for a few bits and peices - when I find out I'll let you know so you have a rough idea of what you're up for.

It's made by HKS which is a reputable brand, though I am a bit weary of stuff off ebay as it can sometimes not be genuine. You have to factor in a 20% price increase (our dollar is only worth 80cents atm vs the USD) and then you have to factor in shipping which is $60 to anywhere in America...expect it to be around $150-200 to Australia so this wont fall within your $600 budget.
I got mine done by Carline Exhausts at a recommendation from a friend down here in Sydney. The guy who runs the place did a fantastic job, though this doesn't help you a great deal as you're in QLD. Personally I love how my exhaust sounds, not sure what others think of it but I don't really care as I think it sounds ace
Mitch Honey, Ryan C, Rina or anyone else on the cruise should be able to tell you what they thought of the sound as they would have heard it on the weekend....they were all staring at me as I approached the carpark to meet them all...that could either be good or bad though

Just don't get a milo tin from Autobahhhhhnnnn, or Supacheeeeepp. Get something from a reputable exhaust place.

Yeah I'm not a fan of cannons on non-turbo cars.
As for that website...not sure dude, I generally go with placse that have been recomended to me by friends. Google them for some reviews and see what people think

Definitely....You can get a great exhaust that will handle any other performance mod you do to your CJ for $600. I think there are some threads about the best exhausts people have gotten.
