As some of you my know my vrx was rear ended leaving me so scrounge and borrow family's cars, because I am on my P2's and cannot drive high powered vehicles and hence I could not drive the evo, any way the day after my accident I decided to apply for and exemption so I got a Letter from my employee and wrote a nice little letter of my own and took it straight to service sa on the 19/12, after a long wait because of public holidays etc yesterday I finally got my exemption in the mail, I never thought that it would actually be granted for a P-plater to an evo even if there fulls are. Month or 2 away, so in a nutshells can drive my EVO :) with some conditions of coarse :) :) :)

Only the one, vehicle is to be driven between home adress and work/for work purposes which is ok as I work ~30km from my work and there are plenty of routs/detours to take :P and I am often required to transfer stock/supplies from store to store so I am not too fussed, work 5 days and 60+ hours anyway not too much time to do any thing else

Nice Work Buddy,
Shame about those restrictions though.

Luckily Queensland has the 125kw/tonne law so i can drive my Ralliart around with no worries at all! Although i don't understand why they even have turbos banned seeing as nearly everyone i know who has applied for an exemption has been approved. Seems like revenue raising to me

That's great news!

And Sammy's got a good point (imo); I have quite a few friends on their Ps with high powered cars and they've all been approved without any issues whatsoever, I don't really see why it's there in the first place if that's the case. :/

Haha yeah I was not sure how strict they were going to be with it apparently not very from what I read here, the plates are not an issue as I am not required to display the P-plates ( as on P'2s), it is amazing how one little mistake cost me 3 more years on my P's, silly laws, meh just over a month till complete freedom
