I'm fairly certain that NA bonnet is steel.
The RA\Evo is aluminum.

i`m sure we`ve only been paying $60, i dont have a link sorry
steel or aluminium it doesnt matter, i think the same struts do either.
and i`m sure someone here has the $60 link
maybe PM megatron or Speedie or rokpapaziz?

The ralliart bonnet needs a different strit because we tried putting my struts on Annie's (blinklights) RA and you could not shut the bonnet because the strut was too hard for the weight of the bonnet because the bonnet soo light and the na is soo heavy

Yeah poor Annie I ending up buying the struts off of her she was going to pm rokpapaziz to find out which one he has bought , but the ones I have a great for the na bonnet holds the bonnet up at any angle

Mark (SIX420) is correct the 1 strut on my bonnet was too stiff and we couldn't close the darn thing
Would be interested to hear from other RA owners who have successfully installed strut as to where they got them from. Mine came from BKK and were useless

Okay lets make this clear. Evo/ralliart and NA Lancers use the same gas struts to lift the bonnets. It is only the gas pressure which is different. Most come pre-charged, but they can be changed to suit the weight of the bonnet.
Too much pressure and it won't close and too little pressure and the bonnet won't lift or stay up.

Thanks Jason, you don't happen to know of anyone here in Adelaide who could do this and what the recommended level of charge is for the RA bonnet?
