Try Suncorp?
I cant vouch for them as I just switched over to them like 24 hours ago
, but they will cover most mods and you get a choice of your repairer.
It was also the cheapest of all the quotes I've got and that includes all the insurer you listed above. I paid $890 for mine. $500 excess with windscreen protection with the car+mods insured @ a total of $21k.
I was previously under AAMI, never had to make a claim but choose to make a switch when the renewal came in the mail with only $20 off the previous year!

Have you tried negotiating with your current insurer? They might consider keeping the price the same on the condition that you don't go elsewhere.
AAMI is a reputable company, pretty straightforward with an Australian call centre. Someone who scratched my car by accident was also insured with them, and the repair process was quite easy. I was covered for cab fees both after leaving the car and picking it up when it was done.

We are with Aami 1100 for the ralliart. My fiancé had a bingle recently, got the car back in 8 days from when we dropped it off. You can't choose your repairer but you can get yours to quote and you can talk directly with the repairers after your car is assessed.

I'm in the process of doing the insurance run around but for my contents insurance. What bank are you with? My sister has changed her insurances to banksa as they were cheaper cos she's got bank accounts with them.
You could try Shannon's but u gotta be over 25 otherwise they won't insure you.
J is with westfarmers . they had raised the price of his insurances so he got a quote from Shannon's, and then went back to his west farmers broker and they did a better deal.
Be careful of you. They will stalk you! I got a quote through them last year and they kept calling and emailing me. After a few weeks of me ignoring them I finally answered n told em I'm on the no call register so p off. Then this ur when my insurance was due I got some missed calls, a text and an email from em.
You could also try using the same company as ur parents. Some companies do family multipul policy discount. I'm with a broker who both mum and dad use for their houses, cars, farm, etc. My last car insurance was cheap as, and then they did a good deal with my lancer when I got it. Its only now after a few years the price has jumped $200 in the past ur for my car and $100 for my house contents that I'm deciding to look else where.
