I would consider the SRi-V and ralliart sportback in the same category as well, just at opposite ends.
I love how it says ES's don't come with ES badges anymore hahaha.
I thought Mitsu had been doing a good job at adjusting their prices and bringing out new trims etc (ignoring the lack of a true facelift) but de-specing your base-model car is a bit strange to me. Won't that push down the value of the older ES's even more?
I know the ES is always the base model but I would've slotted in another under it instead of nerf it... They better be coming out with some impressive pricing then.
Also sounds like they might be trying to avoid any continued costs with SST warranty claims after this gen stops production.
As said, people need to remember that Aus isn't the only market. Mitsu is still pretty unpopular in America I think, and the sportback isn't even sold in a lot of places, and it almost certainly costs more to make than the sedan despite being sold at the same price.
