The fact that he dogged you with the price is really annoying. But if you are happy with the quality of his work then I think $200 is a fair price for fitting and painting the spoiler. Materials alone will be over 50 bux plus he have to prep the spoiler, then paint, then buff etc. plus the fitting.
But yeah, always get a quote in writing.

holy crap i undercharge!!!!
$200 is what i charge for fitting and painted a front bar!! with paint and prep work.
id be going back and demanding they take the wing off and UNDAMAGED or you will take it to a higher authority.
