transmission oil change

hi just want to know is it hard to do yourself and were do your check your oil level in a ralliart lancer ?

I haven't done a full change myself but it's not too hard. I would say if you can change your engine oil you should be able to change the SST fluid.

As they say, there is no way to know how much fluid is in the SST. You need to catch everything that comes out and measure it then replace it with the same amount again.

ok thank you just did a oil change on both my cjs and it was way easy but yea were do you tip the oil in or do you need to pump it in ?
by hand oil pump ?

the fill point is underneath the battery tray. theres a black 8mm hex bolt under there. You'll want one fo the flexi funnels to avoid making a mess

underneath there should be 3 of the same bolts to drain.

Thank you but I just think my transmission oil is a bit old need new oil won't be to low coz I can't c any oil leaks or oil on the ground so just think its the filter and oil that needs a change

Simplest way is to get 2 10lt jugs and fill one up with the old oil then fill the other with new fluid till its about even.

should be looking at 6 and a bit for baisc drain or 7ltr if you also drain the oil cooler.

I will do that change the full 7 litres might upgrade my oil cooler as well and ... Car has been acting a bit weird in the sence that it climes and drops in rpm when cold and the sst takes long and then short times to get into reverse
