All,
Thought it is about time to give all members a quick update with what is going on behind the scene at Club CJ and hopefully explain any frustrations you may be having regarding availability of t-shirts, hoodies etc.
Club CJ has grown at an astounding rate which is superb, but this growth has resulted in the need to tidy up what is going on in the background.
So... the time has come to make Club CJ official, I am registering the name this week and we are trying to make it an Incorporated Association. One of the criteria to become an Association is to have a committee and hold regular, minuted meetings, and plans for this is underway.
Once this is all sorted we can then open a Club CJ bank account protecting the current admins, moderators from any issues around bank transactions for a non official club.
We are hoping to have this finalised ASAP, with a realistic deadline of the end of May. Once all this boring background stuff is sorted we can arrange payment methods, finalise Logo's and kick of plans for t-shirts etc.
With regards to payment methods, feedback has been that everyone hates paypal, so if anyone who is technically minded knows how to help the club set up online payment methods please get in touch with Admin or a Moderator.
Thanks for you continued and growing support for the great Club CJ. Although we have to do some formalising this is still and enthusiasts club, run by enthusiasts and will never become a business or have a goal of making money.
Special thanks to the Admins, Sponsors and Moderators who have made this all possible and created an awesome friendly forum.
Any questions, please post below or PM me and either myself, admin or other moderators will answer them
Cheers
Hoggy
