Well finally i have picked up my 2008 Ralliart; and I am in love.
And this was the aftermath of being cutoff then reversed into THE DAY AFTER PICKUP by a p-plater...
RACV were helpful in saying that its just a matter of having the repairs accepted and they will do the rest.
They suggested BDS repairs in mornington (local) but it isnt a beat out fix; its a replacement.
Any suggestions for good quality panel beaters (VICTORIA) or any spare RA rear ends (black) around???
cheers guys!

yes they will but i dont want it to be something that my car is shopped for a week because they are hunting the rear. being a long weekend is a pain too as most arnt back till tues
I guess its more the frustration that i just picked it up and keeping it in the great condition i got it as; was priority 1.

never mind, youll be without a car for a day or 2 and it`ll be as good as it was before the stack.

They may be able to source a colour matched one straight from Mitsubishi so youd only loose the car for 1 day

Thats bad news - I am getting my car back today (hopefully) after someone thought my front bar needed adjustment.
My car is new, so they have to get brand new OEM parts - its only taking 3 business days since I dropped it at the assesssment centre. If they can't get a second hand one, I would assume they will just get one from Mitsubishi as well, in which case this is only how long it should take.
If there is going to be a delay in sourcing the part for whatever reason, you can always take it back from the repairer and take it in to them when the part is ready. I'm sure they'd be more than happy not to have another car sitting about their premises.

If the bar is taken out and boiling water poured on the dent from the inside, it pops right back out. You may only need a bit of filler then a respray.
