i think you guys are totally missing the point. any-time you mod re tune / exhaust etc, you pretty much kiss your warranty good bye (well, makes it that much more difficult getting a warranty claim) - this would be like having a stock evo, so if anything goes wrong, back to mitsi, and viola, they'll fix the issues without saying 'sorry mate, your mods did this and it thus it's not covered under warranty' .

so yes, you can get better bang for buck mod wise, but having full mitsi backing makes it so worth while...

arnt all MRT parts warranted, and mitsu backs them so it doesn't void your warranty? just get everything done with them, and if your scared to lose your warranty then dont get any mods its simple. lol
8grand for for 30kw warranted its like paying 8grand for warranty on a mid tune. why bother.

hell the 8grand you saved buying normal evo will pay for the problems if you lose your warranty.

that's because the TMR edition is a moderate tune as it says.. well after spending $$ on mods for a normal x say tune, tbe, intake, ebc it will add up to roughly what say 4-5k depending on what brands etc and your left over with 3k or so.. If your tranny goes to the shitter (SST) you're going to have to fork out another 5-7k to fix that crap :D i was also generous on the 4-5k estimate as quality jap catbacks start from around 1.8 or so :)

Think of what Walkinshaw do to Holden’s, Brock SS, Johnson Falcon, etc..

Same sort of thing.

I don't see a reason why you would not buy one if you want an evo with a bit more power. Drive it balls to the wall everywhere you go without worrying about something breaking.

If insurance wasn't a joke for one of these things I would buy one. That and if I had the extra cash lol.

Think the difference between the normal evo and the RA is about 30kw and you are paying $20g more lol Might as well buy a RA and mod it to an evo.
