I think active Group Buys should be in the News Topics feed.

Not sure how much attention is being payed to this thread.

1st suggestion: Hey With the CCJ IPhone app could we have a choice for non premium viewers of the app to have a choice of using the app on the iphone or the site itself as for a mate of mine who isnt premium cant view the site when he is away from home and away from his IPad and Computer

2nd suggestion: Again CCJ app for the chat part can we have it so we can edit or delete what we type in the chat box

I am watching this thread too.
In my current position, I have no ability to add things to the News topics.

Can I advise that all people who EOI on group buys at least add a subscription to those group buys they have EOI-ed on?

And to answer Mitch:

1. The iPhone app is just another benefit of being a premium member.
We've facing questions from both sides:
- Premiums ask what's the benefit of being premium? Not much besides the 2 CJ decals we get.
- Non-Premiums say they want voting rights and all kinds of other benefits. Not fair as they too make up the membership base.

I am of the opinion that the iPhone app should remain a Premium only feature.

2. deleting what's said in chat?
Here's where its difficult: You can rattle off whatever you feel like saying. Then when people hold it against you, you delete it and say No, I thought better of it.

We need to encourage thought before speech. Once too often too many keyboard cowboys who just say whatever they please then withdraw it when it is pointed out by the majority that they overstep the mark.

I wouldn't be against a delete function but it opens up another tin of worms.

Thats Fine Mate or edit as when i am typing on the iphone i kind of miss spell things or pronounce it wrong so if there can be an edit function to fix up a miss spelling or if you left something out in a sentence and you enter it into the chat and you re read it and you go ohh that doesnt make sense you can edit and put it in so what you say does make sense just a thought that ccj already has that could go to the app

We can all see who is on a phone since the nice apple symbol comes out. I don't think anyone will hold it against you if you mistype spelling or grammar.

So re-read before you hit submit.

Sorry, wasn't having a go, just who knows if no senior members say anything.

There just a couple of little suggestions that haven't happened, but I know we all have lives. :)

I find chat does not work as well any more. I can not read it or hear the beep unless I am on the home page.

Some times I am reading or responding to a thread and I come back and some one has asked me some thing but I have missed it. I fear the member thinks I have ignored them and I am rude, when i just did not know about it.
