Hi everyone,
I have an issue with the front passenger side vent. I have added a photo (though not sure if this helps or not)
The vent has been slightly pushed in and now the louvres are loose.
Does anyone know how I can pull this vent out again back where it use to be? I cant find anything to grab onto to pull it forward again.
Thanks in advance

Re: Vent issue - Interior front passenger
I had the same issue with the same vent, ended up getting a replacement on eBay but you could try taking it off and seeing if its broken or something. Sorry can't help with removal as when I got mine changed I asked for help and they removed it so quick I didn't see what they did.
Tomorrow I can check the old vent (which I still have) to see how its broken and take some picks, might help work out how to get it off the dash.

Remove the small plastic trim piece on the left side of your glovebox, it'll be held in with a screw and just pull it towards you to release the clips. Do the same thing with the dash moulding and once that's out of the way just pull on your air vent, it'll pop out and you'll be able to put your vents back in to their correct position. I literally fixed the same issue on my CJ last week.

Re: Vent issue - Interior front passenger
Mine was broken but nothing a bit of superglue probably could have fixed.
Re: Vent issue - Interior front passenger
Would a piece of wire coat hanger with a right angle bend in it, carefully pushed in and hooked around the rear
and pulled into place do the job, be careful what you pull on, maybe two, one either side or side by side on the same edge, would be better for a more even effort.?

Yeah that'd work too, I used a right angled pick to fix th drivers side vent and it worked almost as well as removing the vent

Re: Vent issue - Interior front passenger
Okay just checked my old one and I was mistaken, its not actually broken but the TABS that hold the inner-vent part in place are loose. Of course I would not have known this before I bought the replacement as the 'experts' at the dealer told me it was broken.
Either way a tiny bit of super glue (or something for use in hot environments like you car) would fix it and make use it would never come apart again, just make sure all the vent bits are in the right places and working before you glue it. Could save a packet if you can find one on eBay or at the wreckers.
If you need this one PM me but first do like others have said, take it out and check if it is broken or just loose.
