It was determined that in the best interests of ensuring the data integrity of the backend databases and to prevent data loss/corruption, a decision was made to offline the forum software to enable diagnostics and make an assesment of the situation.
As some have speculated on the CCJ facebook fan page, this was not due to hacking or the work of evil.or any other conspiracy theories you can think of.
Attempts were made to mitigate the unanticipated changes, however not 100% of the issues could be resolved cleanly and easily. The course of action taken was to rebuild a new virtual server and migrate all the data across from the old server, which took slightly longer than anticipated due to a couple of false starts and the complex nature of getting different software components to play nice with each other again.

We thank CCJ members for their patience and for not starting street riots, whilst ClubCJ was offline. You may now get your CCJ fix as per normal.
There may be some minor outstanding config issues or glitches, if you notice anything "not quite right", please do not start threads or post up in the chat.
You should PM Mattigins with details on what you were trying to do at the time of glitch, what error message or unusual behaviour you observed and please provide a link to the page you were trying to access when the problem occured.
