I generally like orange but yellow seems to fit better on the CJ. The shade in the picture is perfect, but I'd keep the flat black stickers on the window frames.

tjoz wrote:All the paint, all depends what you go for. Probably looking around 400 for just the paint (with enough left over in case for touch ups/future mod work). As you have access to all other stuff that would cut pretty much all the cost out bar paint.

As for standing out, go two-tone :D ... Na, or you could do what a WRX is running around like where I am; pinky/purple colour with a different purple for the front lip and sideskirts complete with a carbon fiber hood and to top it all off, creamy colour interior...

Yeah that would be $400 just for the yellow basecoat.
You will probably need a neutral ground coat and primer along with the clear and all the thinners and hardeners.
I recon you would be up for at least $1000 for materials.

Just for the record the P26 red cost me a little over $200 for 2 ltrs

if you want to go 2 tone you will look like an old fella, 2tone is a old style, yes its nice i like it also, but it really is a old style. imho 2tone should be left for old muscle cars. or new ones that have the styleings of old ones.

you could always go for a base yellow and 2tone it with pearl over the top like the old muscle cars, so it looks like a invis 2tone so its only visable in certain light
