Wanting to get HID's for my cj

hey guys!

im looking at getting some HID's for my cj and was wanting some opinions on somethings.

First up i was wondering whats the brightest we can go? i dont really care legal or not. Im wanting to replace my low beams and also my fog lights with hid lights. if you know of any on ebay or from any of clubcj sponsors please link me with a site :)

ahh awsome! thanks heaps for your help :) i would have to fine ones specifically for the lancer though :)

aha yeah i just did some research and your spot on now ^^ aha :) yeah i know about them getting hot ay. ill definately let you know if i do get some which is hopefully sometime soon:)

In the first post you mention legality, there is nothing legal about retrofitting HID's but who cares >.<

I bought a cheap slim ballast kit off eBay (4300k). The colour is great because its not over the top ricer blue, doesn't pull as much unwanted attention. And so far the quality has been great.

I used double sided tape and put the ballast on the side of the water tank etc looks tidy.

oh sounds good dude! im ready to buy mine now and i just wanted to double check our lighting code? is it our low beams 9006? and our fog lights H11?

More people running HID's, I guess as long as you can see doesn't matter if you blind on coming drivers.

So you are saying Chubb is right, yet are still going to buy HIDs, put them in your Halogen housings, and be a menace on the road....

If you want HIDs, do it properly and get some projector housings to put them in...
