Check my garage out. I have LED bright white 30cm strip above the fog lights on the cover. They are very visible during the day and can be seen from in from of the car and the side.

They are wired to my cigarette lighter so they are on with the ignition.

i sell kits at work for Daylight running... basically once your car is on Ignition, about 8 seconds later your parkers and headlights turn on.

we primarily use them for Mining vehicles as its a legal requirement for them.

I simply leave my headlight switch on all the time for visibility. Not sure bout other modeks but for mine, lights are on when i start the car, and turn off a second or so after i open the drivers door.

I bought a set of Philips LED Daytime Running Lights from eBay for about $300. They're genuine DRLs, have the right brightness and wire in directly to your battery so they're always on. They also dim when the headlights come on. I love them :)

Im exactly the same, my headlights run all the time, by the time i open my door and realise the lights are still on and go to reach the stalk to change it, it just switches off. Doesnt fuss me, if they blow it will just give me a reason to go out and buy some white bulbs haha

Mine cost about $30, wire wherever I feel like wiring them to, and are essentially invisible when they're off.
