Seen a pics of them floating around on the club here. Can get them on eBay from a place in Melbourne I believe. Just wondering if these style of lights give out any error messages in the dash and has anyone encountered any problems with them? May order a
Pair next week.

im going to say it has the same potential to there still led lights some of our lancers some do
but depends cause the newer models of the led lights have fixed the problem but if u get some like mine that are only new on the market they will have the problem
in all best to ask the ebay seller if he/she is aware of the problem

The eBay seller has stared that there will be no errors come on and simply plug and play. However you can't believe everything thats said so that's why I'm asking members here on feedback :)

Just to point out the LED tail lamps that we as a club brought in (i.e. those on my car) had no load resistor built in. I solved the problem just by hooking up a ceramic 180 Ohm 5W resistor (cost A$0.25 cents) in parallel to the red and black wires.

The ones that are now coming as part of the group buy have had that problem solved. The Load resistor is already built into the circuit. So no more problems. IF you get one of those designs with a problem, yours is a very old set, circa 2009.

As for the new OEM looking design, it should work straight out of the box as its a much newer design. If it doesn't, that means you got a defective one.

Yes I obviously know which one you're talking about.

The one that look stock but have all their bulbs replaced by LEDs.
Thus the OEM name.

They look really sweet on black. Glen if you're planning on getting a pair next week, maybe we can go splits on postage? And we live in the same suburb also, so shouldn't be a problem. I''ll have to let you know in a couple days though...

No worries will let you know, however I just want to make sure they stand out and look different compared to normal tail lights for it to be worth while

After much thought, I've narrowed down my choices for LED Tail lights and it's either the smoked Audi copy style or these OEM style (I take it it's in black?). Though my question is, where can I get a set of these OEM styled LED tail lights?
