wiring up scuff plates

well i bought some scuff plates of ebay , they come with wires with a plug on the end and as usuall they dont fit into anthing, so im told u need to hook then into the dome lighe {interior light} here is the problem there are two wires, on the scuff plates and only one in the door switch . im told u need power to the scuff plates and earth them through the dome light switch , IF ANYONE CAN MAKE A VIDEO ON THE INSTALL PROCESS WOULD BE GREAT .

WISH THAT HELPED ANY CHANCE YOU COULD COME OVER AND DO IT I HAVE NO WIRING EXPERIENCE LOL .

Just go to an Autoelectrician. Pay some money. Problem easily solved.

I have the same ones. Fit beautifully and easy to install.
Red wire to constant power with inline
fuse
Black wire from each scuff plate to racy individual door switch so that plate only comes on when that door is opened

How did you go I want to do the same thing with a strip of LEDs under the door. And what is the "Racy" individual door switch.

how do you run the wire from the right rear door and drivers door all the way to the glove box ?
is the wire that long ?
any link where these can be purchased ?

Just extend the wires if the are too short. I found my scuffs on eBay.
