yes.
How deep are your pockets? You need a new windscreen BTW.

Not sure, how much would the total cost?

Sorry but why will I need a new windscreen? The sensors are not from the windscreen right

Yeah for sure you do not need a new windscreen, until and unless you are after automatic wipers too....

The light sensor is in the rain sensor which is on the windscreen? The one on the dash is apparantly a sunlight sensor?

Sorry my confusion, I mixed up dusk sensing headlights with rain sensing wipers.

I'll get an answer soon.

Your'e right Glen, there is no sensor in the Dash, that plug in the centre up close to the windscreen is just that , a cover-up plug to hide a screw

The Rain and Light sensor are together in one unit stuck up behind rear view mirror

so the sensor would just behind the rear view mirror right? Hence no new windscreen is needed ?? :)

So I just need to get the sensor and wired it to the headlamp or I have to get a new headlamp?

No, the sensor for the auto lights is on the dash (I've already looked into this somewhat)

In models without auto lights there's a smoked "cover" that looks similar to the dash surface. On VR and up that same location has a raised "lump" on it.

My understanding - from looking on Japanparts - is all you need is the sensor and matching RHS Stalk. They sell both as a package.

Ohya forgot about the stalk.

Assuming I just need the sensor + stalk and wire it to the headlamp or ? I'm not good with wiring at all!

I couldn't find it on Japanparts though, possible to source it locally? Wreckers?

Really the auto lights arn't that great, I have mine set as sensitive as they go and still I find myself turning then on before they start automatically.

I am quite the opposite of Nathan. I set it as insensitive as possible. Problem is they always turn on before I want them to... .

The auto lights are fantastic! You never have to worry about turning on or off your headlights at night. Also, they come on automatically in car-parks and tunnels which is awesome.
