Fellow CJ members,

Just wanted to share an experience with you guys.
Maybe this should be in the DIY section, not sure. :?

I brought a set of fog lights off ebay. link below:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWNX:IT
Trouble was it came with no instructions.

solution:
A top fella from evolutionm.net posted a tute
http://forums.evolutionm.net/lancer-how ... ights.html

Followed the tute, got it them installed in bout half an hour.

all works and all looks great.

That looks so dodge lol, nothing like how i installed mine. I dont have any wires tapped into fuses...
@ Tyron, im about to have mine programmed into my car after getting a VR indicator stalk and relay for them, wired into original harness

never bothered to run the switch to the dash. just tapped the trigger wire into the parker's line.

im not keen on drilling through my firewall or stuffing around with fuses.
so im going to put a switch on the trigger cable and screw it down in a easy to access spot.

Been checking the kits out on ebay. Are they worth the money?

Can anyone comment on the build quality of the fog lights on eBay? I know you couldn't expect it to be the same quality as genuine, but how far off is it?

I'm considering the ebay kit too. Damn thats a messy install in the guide, but I can work that part out myself.

Ive got these aswell. But havent installed them yet. Not sure on how to connect it to power in the cabin. Connecting it to the fuse seems a bit dodgy to me.

If you tried you could probably connect it to the fuse and relay location in the fuse box.
