I just boughta xenon kit from ebay for my ralliart but one of the light is brighter then the other!! and the bright light sometimes flickers, should this be normal cause its new until it warms up or should i get a new one from the seller?? and did anyone have the same problem? and what might be the problem? thanks

Do you mean a HID kit? and the flicker from what i know is what you get in DC bulb kits, as for the one brighter then the other, check if you have 2 of the same ballast's. and id say one might be slightly faulty, giving off a higher voltage, don't try and test it unless you want to blow up a voltmeter, they don't really like 22kV tends to make then go poof in a cloud of smoke, and might hurt you.

go get a good AC Kit, they use AC bulbs, and have a DC-AC transformer on the ballast, it gets rid of all flickering once at full brilliance. (might be a little wile warming up)

i cant remember exactly what the flickering is from but id say it would be from the timer inside the ballast/igniter for striking the bulb and or you have the wrong bulbs attached, like AC bulb with a DC ballast or vice versa,

if i may ask how much did you pay,

i have been talking to ofey about a GB for HID kits soon, and it will also include reverse 15W HID's when ever my dam sample kit arrives lol its only been 2days and the weekend, i am impatient..

So are they xenon bulbs evo9990?

If they are then try messing around with them, like rotate the position they're in the socket by 180 degrees, or try swapping sides with the bulbs. Also, check the prongs that conduct the electricity, and make sure they're straight and bent out slightly and not corroded or anything.
My car has a habit of having a dim left parker. They are aftermarket but I have 4 bulbs and it doesn't matter what one I put in the left socket, they eventually become dimmer than the right. Its often a combination of a car quirk and a sensitive/dodgy bulb when a bulb doesn't work properly.

If they're HIDs you're better off listening to Blakey :P
