How to paint foglight yellow? :D

Postby juanito » Mon Dec 13, 2010 3:30 am

I want to paint my fog lights yellow, like "jdm" style, LOL. I've stuck a yellow book cover sticker, but that doesn't work very well as it leaves a lot of lumps and bubbles cos of the roundness of our fog lights. Anyway, just wondering if any know where to find a yellow spray paint for my fog lights. Thanks

You could try a yellow tint, and use a heat gun to shape it.

I don't want the bulb as I want it to be yellow during the day aswell. Is yellow tint easy to apply on round sides like the fog light? Anyone know? Cos I tried hair dryer on corners for my yellow laminate and I failed.

I'd go with the yellow lens, because no matter what laminate you use, the fog lights simply get to hot, and cause it to lift or peal off.

You could always paint it? I'm sure a hobby shop/craft store would have some yellow transparent paint. Worth a shot if you're trying to save money.

Don't try auto parts stores....try a craft store, or hobby shop. They have all those kinds of paints.
