Just wondering if there is anything wrong with adding some extra DIY indicators into my bumper bar?

Luke in vic its a defect to add additional lights to your vehicle. refer

Vehicles must not be fitted with lights or reflectors not
required or permitted by the Standards for Registration
or the ADRs.
