is it easy to get LEDs inside the car? do you have to connect it to the car power supply? or how do you install them?

depends where you buy and what brightness, Power LED's are expensive. they are 1W up to 50W LED they are high heat, high flux LED's that require a driver (transistors, Capasitors ect) they also have a Large light spread, of most of the time 120degrees(angle)

or you can get Through hole LED's they are usually cheap, if you buy from china or something you can get them for 0.05c each, depending on brightness. the more internal chips, make them more expensive. most are single chip LED's they can be bright to quite dull. they go up to i belie 5-8chips per LED, they are usually very bright. and use a high amount of current( like PowerLED's but not as bright and have a Small focus of light 40-60 degrees.

most threw hole LED's with a high degree spread are usually dull, except for the Side emitting LED's they are much the same as normal ones but emit light sideways and have a high spread 120-180

others are Piranna LED's (4pin 2pairs joined cath, anod ) mid current.

LED range from sizes of 0.5mm to >10mm

installation is quite easy just need a positive and negative, negative to a switch(or positive) then the negative(or positive) must have a resistor on or you will Burn it out, make it go black and bubbly. then from there to your LED, connect to a battery switch, switch then its lit. more then one LED connect a bunch of LED's in parallel each with there own resistor.

cost for LEDs is from 0.05c to $60 each, most are cheap besides power LED, usually start from about $2 going up to about $60 for a 40W power LED,
anything else you need help with i can help with most standard things with LED's im currently learning more complex circuits for LED's to make my own programmable LED circuits.
